Megan
Megan Jeffrey is a dedicated educator with over 15 years of experience working with children from infancy through first grade. Born and raised in Pasadena, Maryland, she earned her degree in education from the University of Maryland and holds dual certification in Early Childhood Education and Special Education.
Throughout her career, Megan has worked extensively with children facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. She is known for creating nurturing, structured environments where all students feel safe, supported, and capable of success. Children love the arts and crafts projects she creates, and really appreciate the creative and engaging learning activities that she designs.
Currently, she works as a special educator in the Community Based Services division of Anne Arundel County. Her days consist of meeting with students one on one or in small groups, communicating with families, and coordinating with fellow educators to create and deliver the best possible plans to help her young learners grow and succeed.
In addition to her classroom experience, she served as the director of an aftercare program for two years, where she developed engaging programming and fostered a strong sense of community among students and families.
Megan is passionate about the belief that every child, especially those with learning differences or struggles with traditional settings, is capable of growth and improvement. Her dedication, patience, and ability to create meaningful connections with her students drive her mission to help them reach their full potential.
She is ready to offer consultation, to work with your child individually, or to assist in developing a small group of learners outside the classroom where everyone can grow and thrive!
